"Eeep!" Suddenly this heroic thing didn't sound so fun anymore, and Mary turned tail and fled. She began running circles around the battle, the demon hot on her heels. Kiara rolled her eyes, biting back a groan. Well, she supposed that was one way to distract the pet. "You shouldn't be worrying about her." Webster pushed Kiara back, making her tumble on the sand. "Death has the gift of immortality. You? Well, I'm pretty sure you don't." Lifting his blade up, the Devil was poised to finish it off. Suddenly, he stumbled backwards and clutched his chest in pain. Looking down, he saw three fresh bullets embedded in his body. Hissing at Vincent, the dark man lifted a finger and sent a shroud of black sand heading his way. Seeing this, Kiara placed Volunta behind her and shot off a burst of energy. The force propelled heron the ground, and she hit Vincent's legs dead on, forcing him to trip and fall. A second later, the cloud of black sand sailed overheard. A second too soon, and it would have been over. Getting up, Kiara dusted her coat off and extended a hand to Vincent. "Black sand, huh? I thought this would be a fair fight. Somewhat at least." Webster chuckled as the black sand hovered over his shoulders now, waiting for its master's commands. "Didn't anyone ever tell you girl? The Devil always cheats."
