With a roar, his eyes glowing brighter, Mithias called forth a burst of speed to ward off and deflect and parry as many of Magnus' attacks as possible, but the flurry was difficult to counter. He was getting cut more often than he could deliver his own attacks, staggering back, losing blood at a faster rate.
