Elizabeth grinned as she sat down, just close enough to Henry so they wouldn't be talking over the fire. "That I did, boy. Take a look." As she unrolled the bundle between them, she started explaining her discoveries. "The device itself is simple really, not much more than a metal tube with a fire starter on one end. A good blacksmith could make about a hundred in a day. I'd go so far to say it's genius in it's simplicity." As she continued, she indicated the pouch of powder. "The trick is this powder. By smell I'd say it's some kind of sulpher compound, but I won't be able to say for certain until I can access some lab equipment. When the powder catches fire, it burns fast, a lot faster than anything else I've seen. When you pack it down the tube and stuff the cotton after it to create an airtight seal, the only way the heat can go is by shoving that seal out of the way, and the ball with it." She rubbed her hands together in anticipation. "I can't wait till I can make an unlimited supply of this. It opens up a whole new world of posibilities, especially if I can incorporate it into my magic." -------- Caroline looked up from the apple she was munching on, all hints of her prior bloodlust gone. "Yeah, I guess I do. My mother works directly for Queen Loise, so I've net her a few times. Why do you ask?"
