"The eternal life is a sweet bonus. And I guess the super strength and speed is pretty nice. All the other perks and problems are irrelevant."
Martin sighed.
"But the one vampire ability I really want.. is immunity to disease."
Martin pointed at his temples with both index fingers.
"I've been slowly losing my mind for two years now. I see things that aren't there, I hear smells and feel sounds. I can't know for sure what is real and what isn't."
Martin laughed nervously.
"There's still the possibility even that none of this is real and I am currently in a mental hospital, talking to the guy who thinks he is napoleon. I mean, vampires? Really? I could hardly believe myself when I found out about all this. I decided that even if none of it was real. I should still try it. It's my last hope"
A single tear rolled down.
"I just want my mind to be clear again."
