Grimlock didn't swallow Horus, instead he unleashed fire breath from his mouth, burning the god inside. He then threw the contents of his maw into the forest. He waited to see if it would return.

Sludge, Snarl, and Slug still stood in silence. They would wait for Grimlock to transform again before approaching him. Getting near in his current form would be dangerous, as he was a literal mass of wrath and anger, capable of turning on almost anyone.
