Serenity wanted to stay here and catch up on what's been happening with us, I presume. She came back for the first time in supposedly many years. It is not very far-fetched that she would stay so that she could visit us for the first time in years for her. I am sure he did not mean to give you any thoughts of his trying to take her away from you.
