The black sand reacted almost instantly, darting back and forth to catch the bullets before they reached Webster. Grinning, the Devil pointed his blade and the sand flung the bullets right back at the,. "Whoah!" Kiara hit the ground a second time as the bullets whizzed by her head. Picking herself up, she glared at Webster and shot a few energy shots at him for good measure. "I'm getting real sick of dusting sand out of my hair!" The bullets of energy were once more caught by the black sand. This time though, it held there for a few moments before exploding, sending particles of black sand spraying. However, the sand recovered, and it only took a second or two for the barrier to be put up once more. Webster shook his head at their efforts. "Well, you two are the most fun I've had all century. I suppose I can give you that." He pointed the top of his black blade right at them. Part of the black sand began to break off and disperse. The dark substance coated his blade, giving with it a demonic energy and a dark hum. "Before I kill you two, I might as well ask for your names. That way, I know who's corpses I'm laughing at." Kiara scoffed, gripping Volunta in a defensive position. "What, so now you're using manners? Dude, you are messed up." Nevertheless, a grin spread across Kiara's face. "The name's Kiara. Kiara Bastion. That goo enough for you?" Mary paused in her running to look in the direction of the real battle. Introductions, huh? "And I'm Mary! Mary the Angel of De-eek!" She turned tail and fled in the opposite direction when Rebel turned and appeared in front of her. As she did so, wailed at the cruelness of it all. "It's not fair! I never get a cool intro to these things!"
