Locke sauntered his way through the halls of the school, flipping through the pages of his "file" as he went, it didn't seem to contain anything beyond what he'd read before, and a class schedule...well at least he wouldn't have to worry about making up work with a broken wrist. Sighing a bit as he walked, he thought of how to get home, sure this all seemed kinda colorful and surreal, but that didn't change the fact that he had responsibilities. Tommy wasn't old enough to take care of himself, and both his parents worked, gramps had the antique shop, and he was suppressed to be in a hospital bed with a bum wrist and leg. He eventually found (after much pointless wandering and accidentally walking into the girl's bathroom twice) the first class written on the list; 3-A. Walking in, he took note that he must have been early, or drastically late as everybody was doing their own thing with no authority figure in sight. "Alright, act natural, you're a half-vampire dude who's stuck in a japanese motion cartoon...HOW THE HELL DO YOU ACT NATURAL LIKE THAT? WHY DOES EVERYBODY HAVE RAINBOW HAIR?" he thought as he hesitantly stepped in, he didn't know where he would sit, so he figured asking would be the best way. He saw in the corner two girls who were chatting about something, they at least seemed a bit more normal than the rest, at first glance. Strolling over to them, he was about to ask them if they knew where he could sit until he noticed the sandy blonde one had...ears. Not just regular ears, but what kinda looked like white animal ears jutting out of her hair. "Maybe that's just how her hair is, I saw a guy with rhino hai-nopenopenopenopenope those are real, those ears. ARE. REAL." Cold sweat mode initiate. "Why the hell is everybody here so weird? Chicks with boobs bigger than their heads, guys with less muscle mass than a twinkie, and now people with animal ears. Then again, I'm a goddamn half vampire...the hell's normal about me?" Finally working up the courage instead of awkwardly standing there staring at the ears, he finally cleared his throat and said: "'Scuze me ladies, but uh, are there any free seats open? First day here." he hadn't noticed until now that his voice was now much more...not exactly feminine, but much less deep compared to his usual voice. Not like it mattered, he just really wanted his octaves back.
