The past four weeks brought on a harsh winter. While November is considered more winter than fall, it felt more like the latter. As soon as it turned December, the change in weather was drastic, and it forced Ashlynn to wear a warm dark poncho over her usually outfit. She has made a few acquaintances while at the Academy, but she not seen Mable for a long time, which was a shame, because she wanted to do something nice for the girl to partially repay her debt. Besides from that, nothing substantial really occurred during the past month; during her free time most of her thoughts were occupied with the attack from a month ago where she was referred to as "Mother". She asked around, both in and out of the Academy, but there were no leads. The 12 were ghosts. Ashlynn entered the cafe, the bell ringing behind her. She ordered the usual (at least for this particular season), and thanked the barista after removing her helmet. Noticing Dark, she walked over and took a seat in the chair immediately across from him, raising her drink and then taking a sip. "Didn't think I'd see you here."
