Ron sat in a rather large lounge chair tinkering with a phone. The phone was rather new and had a touchscreen much alike the other recently released phones of this generation. Any child born semi-recently would think nothing of the phone, just considering it an average part of daily life to be used and discarded when the newer model came out. To Ron, it was an innovation that would spark ideas that would expand and eventually fizzle out when he found another new thing that interested him. The 'touchscreen' wasn't a thing before he had time travelled, a lot of things around him weren't. Things like widescreen TVs without big backs or games consoles. He was particularly fond of the 'Ipod' and had recieved help from his mentor, Booster Gold to 'download' music onto it. Booster Gold also helped him get into the music of this day, although things like 'dubstep' and 'death metal' only hurt his ears. He was more fond of the 80s music than anything else. Bands like Depeche Mode and Fun Boy Three were more appealing than 'skittles' or whatever the strange looking man's name was. He was currently listening to the music he was interested in before he had time travelled. Booster had made him a 'playlist' containing many bands he had said he'd liked. Frank Sinatra came after Nat King Cole, and Bing Crosby after him. The mere fact that he could play these different artists one after another without them actually being in the same room, let alone alive was a marvel to him. He was currently wearing his 'supersuit' which consisted of the Africa-ops uniform he had worn when he was in the military. He never really took to the supersuits of today, too tight and shiny. He much preferred the rough, nice fitting uniform he had worn back in the day. He hadn't bothered to take off his supersuit, he was too busy marvelling at the small phone. His music listening was interrupted when a rather loud message blared throughout the hideout. He arose from his chair while taking his 'earbuds' out and laying both the Ipod and the phone on the chair. He raised the keffiyeh that hung around his neck to his mouth and tied it tightly behind his head. He then moved the goggles down onto his eyes and tightened them as well.
