"Oh my gosh, what's that? What's that!? What's THAT!?" Just on the other side of the stream was another fairy, a young man with messy chestnut hair donned in a baseball cap, with wings of lively red-yellow hues. He buzzed, skipped, and twirled around in an open area, far from the surrounding plantlife. Lights flashed from his hands as he juggled a ball back and forth, overhead and underneath, performing all kinds of tricks as he moved. As Deeta drew in closer, she would see that the ball of light was composed of flames. Beautiful, sparking flames. Amidst his juggling he also hummed a tune - quite badly and out of pitch. Only when she screamed out did the male fairy flinch. His hands froze, and the ball of fire shot into the sky and vaporized in an instant. He craned his neck to see the incoming fairy and smiled widely at his newfound audience. "Hahaha! Hey, I haven't seen your faces around before. You must be new!" As he rose from his feet and into the skies to meet his eyes with the trio's, he bowed impishly. "I'm Crispin. And I--" One of the fast-flyers behind Deeta sighed. "He's just that punk chef. Rather ignominious if you ask me. We should move on; there's nothing to see here, Deeta." "Ooh, ignominious?" The other fast-flyer cooed, head held low as the older spoke. "Whatever do you mean?" From the way her eyes glossed over Crispin, she had not seen him before either, though she's heard of his name and how extremely well he cooked. He's only been around for barely over a few months now, though his name rung like a legend's - which was both good and bad for his overall reputation. The former fast-flyer narrowed her eyes straight at the male fairy Crispin. His palms lit up an orange hue as he continued watching the three girls; he attempted to interject between every sentence the fast-flyer said, but she quickly cut him off. "He thinks he's so special. He's one of the very few fire fairies out there - the power to manifest heat and flames in his own hands. His own clothes are inflammable for that reason, especially after what happened last time." The other hid behind Deeta, avoiding the hostility in the former's eyes. "Fire? But isn't that..." "--dangerous? Well he says it's not." The snooty fairy rolled her eyes. Crispin raised a hand, mouth open and ready to speak, but immediately the fast-flyer shot a finger back at him, keeping him silent. He huffed. "After all, he uses it for cooking and entertainment, like that bogus juggling show we witnessed moments ago. How incredibly crude. All he does is chatter and joke about and think everything is a game." As she crossed her arms, Crispin mimicked as well, though wispy auras of red and orange playfully swarmed around his arms. "Kay so, are you done with the insults now? Though the talking thing is pretty true." His dumb smile never left his face. "I have to say, you make me sound like I have some kind of rep. That's pretty neat!" The snooty fairy grunted, turning away as Crispin fluttered up to the trio, holding his hand out to Deeta. A few sparks danced on his palm before manifesting into a miniature flame. "Hey cutie, wanna see a trick?"
Sorry it's kinda long; I wanted to make sure I covered all the points you brought up in your opening haha!
