Bael's eyes twitched slightly when she mentioned that he had invaded her personal bubble of space, the boy faking a wince and incrasing the distance between the two even more, without releasing her hand, however. "Oh, my. By all manners, that was not my intention." He said apologetically, bowing his head towards her; then he released her hand and placed both of his hands together... as if he was praying. But in fact he seemed to be just apologizing, either sarcastically, or in a very strange manner. "I will keep my distance, and I'm very, very sorry." He remained in the same position for a few seconds before raising his head again, staring at her with those... big and blue odd eyes. He sighed quietly. "What a disaster. My sudden proximity is bothering you, I can feel that. I can see that. Would you please forgive me? I will leave you be, but promise me we can talk once again." There was a sinister sincerity in his words... In fact, it felt as if he had programmed the whole conversation before hand... But only until she asked him the two questions, which made his confident stare shift into an embarassed look around to see if anyone had been staring at the two. "Everything's fine, lady. And the reason, well... I will be sincere. I'm interested in you." He purposelly left the word 'interested' hanging in the air without explication of what sort of interest that would be. Standing himself up, he bowed himself and attempted to gently pick up her left hand with both of his. "I hope we can meet again, Lily Brightengale. You're certainly interesting." With those dismissing words, he'd start to wander off out of the garden.
