History: Her parents wanted Syrileth to be in a good home so they traveled as far as they could to take care of this infant but, their wagon was raided by vampiric bandits on their way to a better life. They fought over who was going to drain this baby clean from its life but the leader stopped their fight and ordered them to give her the baby and to go back to their campsite, they did so while cowering under her iron fist. As the infant stretched its hands out to her feeling with dried snot and tears on her face, she felt that there was a sense of good in this vampire. The years went by and she was turning into a young woman at the age of seventeen, raiding and stealing from nearby villages with the vampires that killed her parents, she had no idea of who she was and where she came from, she was convinced that she was brought up all of her live living with these bandits, she trusted them and learned their ways. She was kept from the rampage and bicker that the night sky brought to their camp from the same vampire that saved her as a baby, her name was Ravelith. This woman saw it in herself to name Syrileth because she felt she was responsible for her, even though the others despised what she done they wouldn't dare stray from her orders. At the age of twenty Syrileth was finally accepted among the others from her successful raids and earnings, thus making them want to turn her into one of them. She was confused when they said "turning her into one of them" so she got the courage to ask Ravelith of what they meant, of course she just shook her head as always and told her that they were "drunk" or just trying to make themselves look "desirable" to get with her. She never questioned her leader much further than that, she trusted her enough to think she was telling the truth. There was always a strange fellow of the name Davit, he never talked or hung out with everyone else. He was the maid of this band of people because he failed so many times beforehand of trying to learn how to raid and even got a few people killed from it. No one ever asked him how he was doing or ever acknowledged him, little did she know that the anger built inside of him was going to ruin the peace she had here. Mid-year was approaching and they were getting ready to pack up and head for the caves for the summer because of the heat when a night after partying they were awakened in their slumber by distant bone-chilling screams of a nearby village, Syrileth geared up with the rest as a few stayed back with Ravelith to hold the fort down. When everyone was searched to be accounted for Davit was no where to be found, but as always they just shrugged it off and hoped for the worst of him. Taking off one by one they ran to the village searching every corner, and street. They found nothing out of the ordinary, or anything to indicate that anything had gone wrong, that's when they all thought: "A diversion". Their movements turned into a complete sprint as they turned back to head to camp, leaving Syrileth behind because of her limited abilities as a human, she still ran, as fast as she could. Arriving around thirty minutes later than the rest, she was brought to tears seeing her once called "home" burning with her fellow raiders spread out in random places with sharp objects rammed into their chests and faces, showing disrespect to those who once lived. Hearing a struggle from inside Syrileth found her way in only to see more bodies piled up and set on fire. "Ravelith" she thought as her stomach dropped upon entering her leaders sleeping chambers, there she was barely alive with strange men downed around her. Coughing and barely conscious she called out to Syrileth, she didn't refuse and ran over to her to see a multiple swords rammed into her body and stuck into the ground holding her place. She looked over her mother figure and cried out, for she knew her time was short. Ravelith struggled to put her arm around her as she muttered out "It's time.. For you to take my place.." Syrileth shook her head trying to refuse any possible way of her leaving this world, alas the deep wounds and movement of Ravelish's words made her come to the realization of her not making it pass the hour. She motioned for her to come closer, Syrileth didn't hesitate. One she was close she whispered "I'm sorry" before sinking her teeth into Syrileth's neck, she gasped as the world turned dark. Memories all rushed to her at once as she woke up with a large gasp, finding herself laying next to Ravelith she touched her face and cried once more as she shut the lifeless eyes of her teacher. Taking the swords out of her body she threw them against the walls in anger knowing that she was now alone in the world. Reaching down to pick Ravelith up she noticed something scrunched in her hand, pulling it out she read the words on it as she flattened it out: "My dear Syrileth, You are like the daughter that I didn't get the chance to give birth to, you're a strong and respectable woman now. But every day I feel the pain of my lies that I've told you my child, I did know your parents, even though it wasn't personally. We were raiding like you, your brothers, sisters and I do, but we failed to see remorse in this single carriage that held you. I know you have a lot of questions, and I'm sorry that I'm not here to answer them but know this, there is a note weaved into your basket from your parents, I couldn't get it out but you're a smart girl, you'll figure it out. I know you must hate me right now but know that I tried giving you the best life that I could, and now you hold the mark of a true warrior, on the side of your neck. I lo-" From there the letter was soaked in blood and smeared. Shaking her head she screamed in sadness and in anger, not noticing the fire that was creeping closer around her she slammed her fists into the ground below her as her fit continued. Feeling the ground shake as someone dropped behind her she quickly looked back and saw Davit, only for a second as she was knocked on the back of the head with something heavy. Falling to the floor unconscious she could only hear his laughter as she passed out, limp. Awakened by a chicken hopping over her face she sat up as her world spun, grabbing her head she huffed in pain. Looking at her arms she realized that she was shackled to the ground. now struggling to get the shackles off a man approached her eating an apple. "Don't waste your time, your not going to get those off anytime soon miss" tilting her head up to him she scuffed "Why the hell am I locked up here?" glaring at the man he shrugged "To be sold into slavery I reckon.." She worked at the cuffs more furiously now, the man only chuckled "Where are you from then?" he asked sitting down on a nearby stool. Frozen in place she blinked trying to think "I.. Don't remember." The man nodded finishing off his apple before throwing the core to the close by pigs "That would explain the bandage wrapped around your head then. Shocked, she looked up to see a white bandage that was indeed wrapped around her head "What do you me-" The door swung open as a plated man walked in his voice stern and loud, "Get out of here you bugger" He looked to the man on the stool. Without hesitation he ran out the other door as the plated man walked back out slamming the door. "How long am I going to be here?" She asked herself as she sat there helplessly waiting for the next event.
