Serena “So everyone in your family loves history...so you have to follow the tradition” She worded carefully, her smile growing at his encouraging words. “You haven’t seen me play sports yet, but thank you for the encouragement” She thanked him. Serena blinked at Ryuu at a complete loss of words; he was looking at her now in the same manner most people looked at her when her tails were visible and David was doing the same. Ok...that backfired. They’re staring more...awkward turtle! She shifted uncomfortably under Ryuu’s gaze, turning her attention to David who actually looked...unhappy? A slight blush slid across the tops of her cheeks as he called her ears cute, then tried to back track and ended up tripping over his words. “Thank you, for the compliment” She said when he fell silent his face red with what she assumed was embarrassment. When she turned back to Ryuu he was stood with a pool of blood in his hands and trailing from his nose, her mouth dropped open a little in surprise. She went to say something when he made a peculiar yet comedic motion with his shoulder, and walked away. She put a hand to her mouth trying to hide the fact that despite his bloody nose his shoulder jig had amused her. She looked at David questioningly, as they stood in the queue together. “Did you see what happened?” She asked him, concern apparent in her face. She looked up as Ryuu returned from the restroom and stood in front of them, she glanced over at David. Folding her arms across her chest as they stood for a moment in silence she shivered involuntarily as Ryuu looked back at them with dark eyes telling them he had been punched in the face, she didn’t question him. She tucked a strand of hair behind her human ear unsure of how to break the silence that followed that statement. When Ryuu asked her a question she jumped a little, only relaxing when she saw his face had brightened into the awkward grin from before. “Biscuits would be great, thank you” She decided on saying. “You looked like you took quite a punch...your nose ok?” She asked awkwardly, concerned yet also a little unsure of what the Otaku’s reaction would be. She turned to David as he spun round quickly to look at her. She tilted her head to the side, a humorous smile flittering across her face as he asked her what her tails could do. Many things...don’t mention they make good night lights though, that would be weird “Erm yeah they do, in fact the more tails you have the more powerful you are. I’ve only got the three though, so I’m not at full potential yet. I can use Kitsune fire, though I generally only use it to heal wounds...and I can do petty magic tricks, illusions mainly” She answered David. “Although, the tails and ears disappearing isn’t my doing the necklace is enchanted to hide them. My grandmother made it for me...stops people from staring” She added. “What about you?” She asked him, looking at Ryuu curiously as well to see whether he was listening and wondering whether he would contribute to the conversation.
