The Doctor was curled up on his big soft bed. He hadn't wanted to cry infront of her or go into a big discussion about his past. She seemed nice enough, but they had just met. He was unsure of sharing too much of his life with her just yet. His heart was rather broken after losing so many companions. He wasn't sure he could handle losing another. It was making him feel more alone and miserable each time he lost anybody. He hoped that Elemmire was able to get around ok, he was sure the TARDIS would show her the way. He knew his ship was good like that at least. He closed his eyes again. He really just needed some sleep as well. "Look after her old girl." He told his ship. He knew she would anyways. He curled up. He was feeling quite exhausted and mentally drainned. He was groaning. He pulled a pillow over his head. He could hear the ship humm in concern. "I'm fine, just can't sleep." to anybody who didn't know the TARDIS or the Doctor would probably see him as rather crazy for talking to his ship like that. But to him and his companions that was just normal. The Doctor knew he would end up unable to focus if he didn't get any sleep. He yawned and pulled the covers over his head. Being tired and emotionally drainned was never a good feeling, it had been a tough day for him, even before he had rescued Elemmire. He finally managed to fall asleep, but it was clear he wasn't going to sleep well. He was having nightmares and kept tossing and turning. He hated not sleeping well. He was having bad dreams about the time war. He awoke gasping and rubbed his eyes. He was panting. There was dark shadows under his eyes. Feeling like he wouldn't get much sleep. He goes and gets himself some tea. He looked very drainned. He hoped tea at least would help him sleep better. The Doctor was silent as he walked about the TARDIS, He ended up reading for awhile as he sipped his tea. He hoped that tea would work. He fell asleep for a short time in the chair in the libary, but woke after another bad dream and went to go lay in his bed again. By morning the Doctor was curled up in bed trying to sleep more. He had been up and down all night unable to sleep. It seemed last night was one night where he had even worse sleep than he normally did. He didn't get out of bed and just lay there. His eyes had dark shadows under. He knew he needed a decent sleep. He had a headache from lack of sleep. He breathed deeply and curled up and tried to sleep more. He ended up falling asleep again. He was still quite restless.
