It had been such a pleasant day until that man had leaped down at him and ground his face into the road, the force of the blow causing an impact crater in the street below him. At least the sudden outburst of extreme violence had scared everyone in the immediate vicinity off, so Thufir wouldn't have to worry about anyone being caught in the crossfire. Thufir tensed his muscles and focused himself, channeling the rage that was building up inside of his stomach somewhere productive. He felt his skin tighten and begin to shift into armor. He was much heavier, unable to move as well, but the person had attacked him with a force that he had never felt, so he knew it was best to be prudent. Underestimating the opponent was at the root of so many calamities that humans have put themselves through, and Thufir saw no reason he should repeat the same mistakes that he had ample time to learn from. He stood, his dark tan skin replaced by a shiny black coat of armor, his soft green eyes changed to an almost feral shade of yellow. He could already feel the energy coursing through his body as he stood and faced his attacker, who sneered at him. “You should not have done that,” Thufir informed the man as he focused his energy into the palms of his hands, where it cracked and sizzled. The focused energy began to distort the air around, like looking at something through the wrong end of binoculars. It condensed and shifted into balls of pure white, breaking the light that passed through it like a prism. He put his hands out in front of him, towards the man and pushed the energy outwards and when the tension of the power in his hands broke, a huge laser beam fired out and consumed the person who had attacked him. Thufir knew that probably wasn't enough to kill someone powerful enough to punch him into a crater, so he waited for the next attack to come.
