@Gargoyle: That sounds good to me. Also, I think we just created an unrequited love story.
Edit: I think it would be good if their encounter had happened when Gai was still fairly young (maybe around 18-20 range?). I think it would make Jun's 'rescue' a bit more profound in Gai's mind.

@iSuspect: Well it depends largely on the start of the story whether they have all met already. If we begin where we have already been inducted into the Order of the White Lotus (which I had assumed was the case since we included White Lotus names in the CS) then It makes sense for all of us to know each other but that would also mean that we miss out on all the interesting things that can happen with first impressions and the like. Now that I think about it, I like the idea of not being very familiar with any of the other characters so we have to learn to work together.
