Just run...that's all she could do at this point was just run, running across the cracked tiles of city rooftops, vaulting over the usual obstacles of AC ducts and chain-link fencing and sliding on her knees underneath a precariously hung clothesline as she made her escape from it all....away from Marcus, away from her sham of a past life....a life she had once thought so highly of...only to see that she was just the proverbial "Freak on a Leash" for that bastard. Fuck him then! Fuck them all really! Fuck Marcus and his shitty yuppie suits! Fuck Flint and his disgusting bugs and roaches squirming all over him! Fuck Jamie! That asshole thought he was such a pretty boy, when he was nothing but a cocky bastard! And fuck Veyas! He always thought he was so smart, always a cut above the rest. Well if he was so smart, how come too soon did he not come to this very realization Maria had? But of course....coming to such...not to mention abruptly turning her back upon those few....would cost her dearly her own life...that of course being the life she once eked with those assholes. Who needed them anymore? She didn't really think of much where to run to though, mostly just trying to figure out where Leela may have gone to. Not long after, she realized she had Marcus' tracker still in her back pocket. "C'mon. Tell me where she is." While she ran, Maria held the tracker in her hand, the device instantly beeping and flickering when she came upon...a rather old and burned out building, surrounded by a rusted iron bar fence with tall grasses and weeds growing wild around it. "Heh...nice place." Still sarcastic as ever, Maria had to give her opinion, but it would do for now. Vaulting over the fence, she stepped inside, her eyes scanning around for the white haired girl....who in a way...she had to thank... "Leela? Hey where you at?"
