Stumbling in the dark and the dust of the abandoned building, looked like it used to be a school or something by the appearance of more than one room and some with old desks and chairs strewn about, Maria followed the voice and also the beeping of the tracker, noticing with every small step she took towards Leela, she was beginning to feel winded and weary beyond resolve, her legs beginning to wobble shortly with each stride forward, as if she were walking on noodles. The cyber-goth...she must've over-exerted herself, using every last inch of her power to push her along...after such a chaotic and eventful day, twas even present when she tried to form an orb of lightning in her hand....and the damn thing just flickered and burned out...like an old lightbulb. Shit....that ain't good. She muttered to herself. How long had it been since she could recharge herself? Taking out her cellphone, she glanced over the screen for a moment...three bars of battery life left...maybe just enough to keep her going. "This'll do..." She whispered, clutching the phone tight in her hand, focusing everything upon it, until suddenly her hand glowed with a static blue light and she felt a surge going through her arm and back into her body. When she was done....the phone in her hand was dead...nothing left of it but the hardware. Oh well...at least Maria could survive a minute or two...running of course... Finally, she made it to wherever Leela was hiding and collapsed next to the girl, throwing the dead cellphone against the wall with a lethargic and careless manner. "I had to use it....to keep myself going. I think...I exhausted my lightning...which means we're screwed if Marcus decides to send his other attack dogs." Taking a few deep, ragged breaths into the burning heat of her worn out lungs, she slowly moved her head towards Leela, asking her...with oddly a bit of concern to her voice, "You okay?"
