The sound of shoes rapidly hitting the floor began to fill the hallway and class room, subtle at first, but increasing in volume until a loud squeak sounded outside of the class room door. Mateiu opened the door and grinned sheepishly as he stepped into the classroom, "Sorry i'm late..I couldn't resist exploring a bit, guess I overestimated how much time I had." he said, before slipping into a seat just behind the first row.
