Jeanne R. Cortez Cortez stared at the red rose with a child-like look, her eyes sparkling with astonishment. "So red... like me!" The pirate captain of the Screaming Pearl took her time to stare... before she noticed something strange. The sound of a... what was this noise? A foreign, yet pleasant noise was being emitted across the campus, though it seemed to be at a fair distance from her. She blinked, becoming far more infatuated with this academy. There were so many strange things she never saw before, so it was a given that she would be driven to explore for a while. She could spread her name a little later, after all. "I am quite interested in where the pleasant sounds of this instrument is setting sail from!" Cortez quietly exclaimed to herself, her juvenile attitude still intact. "Methinks I should go avast by this pleasant noise!" And so, after giving the rose one last look, the red-haired pirate lady lightly headed over to the source of the noise. It turned out that there was actually a person playing music in the Student Center, which was the place where the vice principal stated there would be a party at. She blinked, her eyes staring at the man who sat by the piano with a strange device in his hands. It looked very similar to the linear instruments she and her crewmates used whenever they wanted to make a party jolly. The sound, however, was foreign, yet pleasant to hear. She liked the happy song this student was playing right at the moment. Watching him from a distance, the redhead looked around before finding a place to sit on the floor, staring at this person who looked like a genius to her eyes. She let his music sink into her ears, still amazed by the diversity of things Athalia Academy had to offer.
