Mithias ducked and covered as the blasts arrived. He would have been destroyed if he had been caught in that. He peered over his arm once the fire and mayhem subsided. Gabriel was alright, even his bloody flower bloomed anew. In typical godlike-fashion, he vanished. Mithias didn't see how he did it this time. Perhaps his senses had been dulled by his battle with Magnus. It was honestly hard to hate and destroy someone who spared you at every encounter. Granted, this oddly considerate behavior seemed only very recent. So much seemed to be changing lately. With the cave opened, and the blasts stopped, Mithias moved out. Magnus was already ahead of him somewhere, probably plotting how to rescue that friend of his, Lambda, aka "Zero." Mithias darted through the half-leveled and burning remains of the forest to find his weapons. They were surprisingly unharmed by the firefall of the missiles. His right weapon still bore the blood of Magnus. That would be helpful in convincing SOLDIER of his story once he got back to them. He'd be in so much trouble for losing #709. Mithias broke out in laughter. It was so ironic how "important" a mere machine like that was to them. Sure it was expensive, but it wasn't worth lives. With his newfound knowledge and understanding, the vampire SOLDIER agent made his way back to the city in the darkness of night. He would either make it back to the city, or run into other SOLDIER members along the way.
