Ack, that sucks about your painting. :(

I don't mind adding in the sister! It makes it interesting. Perhaps everyone else thinks she died from her curse, which is why she hasn't been mentioned before by any of the other characters. Would have added to his determination to keep up appearances. I think that Narissa would have kept the sister somewhere extra secure rather than a normal dungeon. I've been toying with adding to the mirror mythology in this world, so maybe she's trapped the sister in one of her mirrors (it contains her but also keeps the curse at bay while August does all of the dirty work). That way he just can't try and break her out. Now I should think of a way to insert her into Narissa's evil plan of revenge ha. 

And yeah, Orin could be like the secondary antagonist of the whole thing. I've been looking for an opportunity to bring him back. Him being able to see through August's eye would probably make him a valuable ally for Narissa. He also has dangerous knowledge about Sam (that she's from the other world) and could also still desire her, and she could be his reward for the alliance~ So exciting, I have new ideas now.
