The Doctor checked it and felt the metal. "oh that is brilliant...very well made." He then saw soemthing on the screens on the TARDIS."Somethign is attacking us!" He opened the door and took out the sonic screwdriver. He wondered what kind of creatures these things were. 
Azula saw the creatures and knew the Doctor would need help. She came out and shot a fireball at them "What the heck are these things? spirits?"

Doom waited for everyone to come out, so he can get in the TARDIS.
