Phillip slammed his fist on the table.

"Phil-"

"No! We tried it your way," he glared at the mermaid, "Listen here, you silly little fish. You think Charles is scum, aye that he is. He's a imbecile with very high reaching and that's what put him here. But's he's a imbecile with very high reaching. He won't stop. First it'll be one kingdom, his own most likely. Next it'll be the Foot- Fetish Prince's kingdom, gods know he's too drunk to even pay attention. But next? It'll be your friend Rapunzel's kingdom. Then Snow White. Then Auroura's, my sister-in-law's kingdom. Then, when there is no one left, it'll be your kingdom. Your father's kingdom. And who will be there to suffer because there is no one to help? You loyal subjects." He pointed at Flounder.

"This isn't a game and it isn't a joke," he said coldly, "This is war. Do you understand that? [i]War.[/i] The kind of person I am has nothing to do with it. We are talking about lives here." He threw his hands up. "But hey if you want to go on living in your underwater fantasy, go ahead. Get married to some sea slug who things ruling a kingdom is looking fancy on a thrown and telling people what shells to shine." He turned to leave, but then turned back around to point at her.

"Just make sure you tell all of your subjects you didnt listen and it's your fault that they have to be commanded by Prince [i]Charming[/i] and his pyschotic friends." He turned and left, going once more back to Ella's house.

Ella turned to Ariel and sighed.
"That vas a pretty low blow, Ariel, and you know it," she said softly, "Despite vhat you may think he does care about protecting innocent people." She shook her head. "And bring me into it..." she sighed again, "His parents did not pay much attention to him, you know. They left him vith nursemaids and tutors. They vere too busy vith their kingdom and the needs of their people."

"I vas the one who hurt him," she said meekly, "I vas a child who thought love was perfect in everyvay and needed no vork or mending. So vhen I caught him being kind to another voman, I thought the vorst of him." She looked up at the princess. "I ran off and then got myself into a mess vith a truly sadistic and cruel prince," she said, "He vas the one who got me out of it. But I vas so blind vith jealousy and too stubborn too listen, so I ran away." She looked up at the mermaid and held her sides. "If you vant to hate someone, hate me. I broke him and turned him into vhat he is now..."

Ella turned to leave. "And I am no princess. I'm too horrible to be one."
