It makes sense, really. I think most of what made us decide racism is bad in the real world is a mix between it not being economically practical in a post-globalization economy, and the fact that Hitler sort of soured the entire concept with his entire "Murdering most of a race because of racism" thing. Even then, Racism is still a big deal.
