“I wouldn’t push her buttons too much, Kisheto,” Arianna said with a slight smirk and a raised eyebrow as she entered the cafeteria. She sat down, smiling amusedly. “Would you like anything, miss?” The waiter asked after he hurriedly made his way over to Arianna. “Uh, a glass of water and something to eat would be great,” Arianna awkwardly replied. She wasn’t used to being catered like this. It was a bittersweet feeling. It was relieving to be able to relax instead of hunt for food, but it also reminded her of how desolate Sovereign had become. She also wondered if she would ever be able to leave Sovereign and see her parents, or even visit a real restaurant again. The uncertainty of what life would be like beyond the wall was one of the main fears she had. The military seemed a little too keen on keeping them inside of the walls. They would certainly chase after any hosts that escaped. Would her parents be safe if she visited, or would the military hunt them down, too? With only a blink of her eyes, she wiped these troubling thoughts from her head and focused on where she was now. “So, Kisheto… How long were you with the Golden Mercenaries?” She asked, hoping to gather more information on what the Golden Mercs were.
