David wasn’t listening. He didn’t want to listen. His mind was starting to flood with thoughts and he didn’t like that. Just stay friendly. Eat your donut. Don’t look at her. Don’t look at her! but the second he thought ‘don’t look at her’ he stole a quick glance at her. That only made things worse so he started stuffing his donut in his mouth in a most savage way when she started to ask what they liked. But it seemed she waited to answer that question. She then finished it. Asking if they liked the music. Do I? I don’t know? What music? Didn’t even know there was music. Oh this music. Oh yes, it does sound nice. Would those biscuits really taste that good. I hope she likes them. Would she like donuts? No stop! Stop that! Stop that right now, young man. Then, right when Serena glanced at him looked down at the table, but his cheeks were swollen and filled with food, making him look like a frog who just inhaled too much air. He then pushed it all down with one swallow. Luckily for him, he didn’t notice Serena. Or else his brain would start flooding again. “Yeah, I like the music.” He then answered. But he didn’t look at Serena. Don’t look at her. Don’t glance at her. Mind your business. Talk to Ryuu. About euhm…where you’re going to meet tonight? he then looked straight at Ryuu. His mind was gaining control again. Maybe a little too much. “So, where and when are we going to meet tonight?” he asked to Ryuu, doing his best to avoid seeing Serena.
