Bane sat up slowly, breathing hard. "It's not his fault...they attacked here too. I think a human who they killed started all of this..." Avery was thinking then said "bane? Where is the armory?" Bane said "by the kitchen and stables" Avery nodded and slipped out of the room. Bane got up slowly and said "you know those things have been on their own for years. The count can't control them, nothing can.." He flinched and grabbed the bed post, closing his eyes. Avery opened the doors and looked around, walking down the room till she found the weapon she wanted. A cross bow. She reached up and nodded. "I hope dad is right about these things.." She looked at the bottles on the far wall and smiled, picking up one that read 'fire snake' "he has everything...." She put both in a bag and headed out the doors, towards the woods. She knew she could fix this. After all, it was all her fault. Early the next morning bane was panting, not have slept all not. But the pain was a full ache. His eyes were clouded over and half shut.
