Jacque extracted and examined a bit of glass from his arms then poked at it a bit, "You seem to be over simplifying things AND blowing them out of proportion at the same time, if thats even possible." Jacque said before dropping the tweezers and turning to Nao. Jacque interwove his fingers and propped his arms up on his knees like a man awaiting his opponent's move in a game of chess, "Since you're probably the only one on this god forsaken vessel that I have even a sliver of respect for, i'm going to humor you and try to explain how Manō works. Manō is my partner, yes, but we were originally one being. I don't particularly feel like going into detail as to why we're split apart now, but the long short of it is that my spirit and powers are divided, and Manō is the half that carries everything 'good' about me; compassion, innocence, all of those little things that humans cling to as if it makes them better than any other creature that lives on this planet. Here's the kicker though, although Manō is the 'good' half, it's extremely child like in nature, which makes it hard for Manō to understand what is appropriate and what isn't, which meaning my orders usually have to be extremely specific if I want something thing in done in a particular way. When I asked Manō to provide a distraction, I didn't say anything specific, meaning anything could've happened, Manō could've started wrecking the place, it could've simply started splashing the doctor over and over, hell, it could've even danced around the room if it thought the desired effect would be achieved. Did I know Manō would do that in particular? No. However seeing as this was a one time thing and no one was injured, I see no reason for you to be angry.". Jacque let a silence hang in the air for a few moments, then picked up his tweezers again, "I'm assuming my explanation will fall on deaf ears, so will it appease you if I simply say i'll be more specific next time? I'd really like to get rid of the last few shards that are lodged in my forceps.".
