It's not MY fault you can't figure out that catching her unaware would have been a big fuck-you to the whole spellcasting thing. Don't be upset because you had no choice but to suicide bomb to win. Keep the pressure on, don't stop attacking, stop her from finishing her spells.

Literally... fire off a time delay attack, or a homing rocket or something... something that she can't just dodge and resume incantations. It's NOT that fucking hard. To outright dodge a homing rocket (with smart-targeting, which I would think a half-mile tall doomtank would have somewhere... but you just stated the missiles rained down death), for example... I would have to bur nothing but perfect dodges the entire time... and have no room to attack. Then, when out of motes of essence, I am fucked. 

On the flipside... if I chose to attack, I'd take a few homing rockets to the brainium in order to do so.

Not hard.
