Phillips was sitting on the back porch rubbing his forehead when Ella found him. She sighed and sat on the arm of the chair, looking out at her little concave of a garden. The fence was high, the trees surrounding, making it rather private from the rest of the neighborhood. Honeysuckle vines grew on something, berry vines, grapes vine, ivy vines on others. Small trees for certain fruit and two wood box gardens for things that need growing in the ground. She even had a few berry bushes here and there. Ella was a forest nymph after all. She like this kind of thing, even if she had to keep it private from prying eyes of overly nosey Normies.

"'Make friends'," scoffed a very wary Ice Prince, "Fat lot that did me. Instead you lost a friend. Maybe more." 

"Ariel is someone...more complicated t'an all this, Phillip," Ella put a hand on his shoulder, "And vhat if you are wrong? Vhat if Charles isn't out to take over all Tale creatures? Wouldn't it make you look a bit... brash?" Phillip stood up suddenly, throwing his hands in the air.

"Oh, so you don't believe me either!" he shouted. Ella stood, nervously looking towards the house, as if the Duck might burst through her door at any moment.

"Phillip, please-"

"No! I don't want to be quiet! I want to yell at the top of my lungs and freeze this whole god forsaken-" He was cut of quickly. Two arms around his neck and Ella's lips pressed against his, she had shocked him out of his anger. When she felt he had calmed down, she separated from him, brushing off the front of her dress.

"Have you calmed down now?" she said calmly. No answer. "Good. Now let us just be patient, have a cup of tea 'nd wait to see if dis siege by Charming is true or not, alright? If he starts massing an army, t'en ve can go to Red or Rapunzel, [i]da[/i]?" 
Phillip swallowed hard and nodded weakly, sitting down slowly. Ella nodded briskly and went to go make some tea.
