It was designed to mock the fishmalk a bit, yes. Not to be a true fishmalk, though. We personally like making fun of stereotypes. here's a first draft of the "how she works"-thingy:
Derangement description & how she works: Alodia's derangement is multi-faceted. For one, she's got multiple personalities, sometimes working together, other times at cross-purposes. She's got a bit of memory problems too, having trouble distinguishing when what happened in the past. Her connection to the Malkavian Madness network is pretty strong for a kindred of her age, which in turn destabilizes her in comparison to most others. She's also obsessed with fish and certain other animals, using their names in place of some other concepts. Alodia is not the classic joker, though. Even prior to the Embrace, she was more than a little insane and utterly inept socially. She's a bit of a scientist and was nearly a prodigy, but the embrace rather made that potential wander off. She's still unusually intelligent, but she's a malkavian, so its of varying use. Reminding her of the past isn't the smartest thing. She has vague memories of it, but seeing as how she's insane, the pre-embrace memories are utterly mixed with the post-embrace memories. When she feeds, she tends to be a bit messy, like in the appearance image. Basically the rest of her derangement is that she explains things scientifically, filtered through the perception of a Malkavian. She's not much of a fighter, but still more than good enough to tackle most regular mortals. When it comes to combat, she will dodge and hide more than she will go for direct confrontation. She has only minimal conscience, so killing is something she couldn't care less about having done. She doesn't know how to do a lot of mundane things, like use firearms or drive vehicles.
