Martin followed the digital discussions that ran trough the air. Artificial emotions rushed like lifeless lightning. Quite a comical concept. There were patterns in the air, mathematical plans and directions. There was clearly no way of escape from here. But Martin had changed his mind about escape, as he often had changed his mind, and often will again. "The first one to land is for me, the others are for future me's. So live I must be more creative than a machine, how hard can that be?" He whispered to himself. Martin decided that it was time to try and test his vampiric strengths. He tore a hole in the wall he had his back to and pulled out a brick, balanced it in his hand and timed it perfectly. He focused on all the information around him, whirling like a tempest of facts and thoughts. He pinpointed the first rocket and only the rocket. He threw the brick and immediately dove to the left. The brick soared trough the air and glanced off the rocket, slightly changing it's trajectory. The missile disappeared into the hole in the wall. Perfect shot! Less than a moment later a powerful blast could be heard, followed by several more. Martin knew the other explosions would fill the streets in a few seconds from now so he followed the rocket and dove into the hole. He ran trough the demolished room. He barely had time to investigate all the broken guns and ammunition that had been stockpiled there. Now violently demolished. He pushed on knowing that a single wall wouldn't save him. He burst trough the next door and moved into another large room full of weapons and other equipment. A well ordered jungle of metal and powder. The amount of barrels holding holy water made Martin slightly nervous. Outside behind him came the thunderous roar of a carpet bombing, followed by the collapse of several buildings, including the back part of this building.
