Practise makes perfect ^^
And that's the thing. You tend to go for effect, ignoring the rules of physics and sometimes logic as secondary to a character's goal and main concept. For example with your new female character (forgot her name for a moment.) You had a very clear idea of what her main concept was supposed to be, and what she was supposed to be like, but her power didn't work all too well with the rules of logic, which is why I was forced to call bullshit.
