Mephiles didn't show any change in his facial expression, but did take in that bit of information that there was something else that Tex did not want to reveal while Omega was so close to revealing it. Maybe...just maybe that would be a way he could blackmail the latter whenever he saw it necessary. There was no way he would forget this moment, it was just what he needed.

"Er....I didn't get any of that," Sonic comments on Swoop's explanation towards Tex. While it didn't pertain to him at all, all of that talk sounded like gibberish to Sonic.
