This will be a general thread containing the information for an RP of mine that I intend to launch sooner or later. I will be reserving this and the subsequent six posts in order to cover the broad brush strokes of what I intend the RP to be, the historical information leading up to the RP, information on the star system that the RP will be taking place in, info on the planet the RP well be set on (for the most part), a bestiary, and any misc information I feel like adding over time.

This will be a Science Fiction thread that will have, compared to other threads I have created, a ton of background info and a bunch of player created info (if people choose to do so). Players (once a cast is decided upon), casual readers, or passersby will be free to suggest and/or submit content to this setting. Areas that I leave open for user input will be clearly marked so if you feel like joining in and contributing be my guest. [B]All forms of contribution should be sent to me via PM with the word "Sardona" in the PM subject. I will review it and once everything is good to go post it (with your due credit of course).[/B]

As this setting grows over-time I would also not object to people linking to it or using it as a background/setting for their own threads or stories if they so desire. If that is the case for anyone feel free to use the whole thing or cherry pick elements you like. I only ask that if you do, please link back to this so that I and anyone who contributes to this content are properly recognized. 

Lastly, I will be starting an RP in this setting once I feel I have established the proper base of information. [B][U] As a forewarning this RP probably will not start for a good while as all of this info is still a great work in progress.[/B][/U] However if you feel like sticking around because the idea in the "Broad Brushstrokes" below intrigues you than by all means do, contribute, spitball ideas with me, and when the time comes for the start you will be the first preference for character choices.

As always look back often for edits and feel free to post ideas, error finds (I am sure there will be many), reviews, critiques, or whatever you want after my reserved posts. I welcome positive and constructive feedback.
