Sorry for getting this in so late, I actually finished my CS hours ago but my internet wouldn't connect to the site. Anyway here it is. Name: Harrison Malone Age: 46 Origin: Southend-on-Sea, England Residence: Southwark, London Occupation: Teacher/Former Doctor at the University College Hospital in London, England. Relationships: Parents are deceased from natural causes. 50 year old brother Lance Malone is deceased from suicide via gunshot to the head in his studio apartment in Los Angeles, USA. Harrison also has an ex wife named Carol MacCallister, 44, living in Edinburgh, Scotland with their son Jaime Malone, 16. Appearance: Harrison stands at 6'2 with a slightly lazy posture and a slightly overweight stomach but he is a man in his late 40s who has gone through depression. With all things considered he is decently healthy for his age. His beard has a mix of grey and the original black hair color. The clothes that he is currently wearing is a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie but the tie is currently in a relaxed, loosened manner as he has been wearing it for many hours now. The reason for the suit was he had just been at the funeral of his brother hours before and he is wanting to get out of L.A because the whole area reminds him of his brother. His hands are quite aged and rough and his eye color is dark brown. The shoes are black loafers. History: Harrison was born in the quiet little town of Southend on the east coast of England. His father was Irish and his mother was English. Their life was quite a financially well supported life. His father was an electrician and his mother sold paintings that she made. Harrison from a very young age always wanted to be a doctor. He was fascinated by the human body and how it works. He would always be intrigued by the smallest details in paintings, literature and even film and TV. His mother and father supported this choice but his older brother Lance was quite jealous by this. He didn't have any form of talent or interest in the educational side of things. Lance started to get into trouble at school for attention and even bullied his brother some times. This whole contrast between Harrison and Lance went on till they were 12. When 12 came around Harrison had reached Academy(High School) and was beginning his major academic studies but he was bullied by many because he was a 'geek'. One day Lance witnessed witnessed his brother getting pushed around by some kids that were a year older than Harrison. Lance felt sorry for Harrison but he couldn't intervene without getting into trouble but Lance emotionally changed in that second and finally snapped when one of the kids spat on Harrison right to his face. Harrison witnessed Lance beating the crap out the boys and even caused one of them to go to hospital with a concussion. Lance was expelled but Harrison started seeing his brother in a different eye. They had finally gotten along. Harrison graduated at 18 with straight As, graduated from Medical school at 22 and completed his residency at Great Ormond Street Hospital at 26. His specialty was Intensive Care Medicine. Harrison met his wife at the age of 28 in 1995, Carol MacCallister. She was working as a Veterinarian not far from the hospital. They had a son named Jaime Malone a couple years later. Harrison's brother Lance had moved to L.A. to become a guitarist. Lance had bad test results in school but had recently found a talent with the guitar so he got an offer from an agent and went to try his luck in America. Harrison and his brother still kept in contact via phone calls and letters. Harrison's life was going amazingly for many years. He was a well respected doctor, had a loving wife and a beautiful son. Unfortunately, this all changed in 2007. One day in 2007, a 17 year old girl was rushed to hospital, having fainted outside a party. Harrison ran some tests to find out that she was in a coma from cocaine overdose. The only relative of the girl was the mother who was grieving at the bedside. Unfortunately during the same week, three patients in the same ICU were needing new organs. One was needing a liver, one was needing a heart valve and finally, a 10 year old boy was needing a kidney but his parents weren't matches. In a rush to save lives Harrison discovered the coma teen was a match for all the patients that were needing organs. Harrison managed to convince the mother to pull the plug on the girl and to give her organs to those who need it. The surgeries were successful and the patients were looking fine. However, Harrison was then given an autopsy report on the coma girl. She didn't faint because of cocaine overdose, she fainted because of rabies. A crucial detail that Harrison missed was that she was on holiday to America a couple weeks before. Harrison rushed himself up to the ICU but the patients were coding due to the infected organs from the rabies. Harrison tried to save the patients but it was to no avail. First the liver patient went. Then the heart valve patient. Finally, the little boy died. Harrison had just killed 4 people that night from making a quick decision and for missing crucial details. Harrison's life got worse after that. Harrison went into deep depression and alcoholism that year. The hospital put him on a sabbatical to recover. He had started to change personality. He was once a happy confident quick thinker but now he was sad, angry and he can't handle pressure anymore in quick situations. His depression started to put a strain on his relationship between his wife and son. He wouldn't recover and he started to take painkillers and alcohol as a regular thing. This rift in his marriage caused a divorce a few months later and his wife won custody of Jaime. They moved up to Scotland. Harrison was told by the court to fix himself or he won't get to see Jaime at all. This managed to push Harrison out of his depression but not entirely. He was out of the deep end but was still floating in the shallow end. He has stopped taking painkillers but is still shaky when it comes to alcohol. He has taken a teaching job at the University College Hospital and has been teaching for a few years now. He refuses to go back into medicine and hasn't been a doctor for a while now. Personality: Harrison is now a quiet, reserved man who is disinterested in the lives of others. He was once able to handle himself in a quick and pressure-filled situation but now he avoids them and will crack when placed under them. He now has a slightly darker view on life. Even though he has changed he still shows cracks of his old self at times. He might help in smaller situations and has smiled once or twice but it has been years since he was himself. He is lonely as well. He has no relatives, a wife who does not love him anymore and a son he barely speaks too. Harrison denies this but he truly wants someone to reach out. As a teacher and a doctor he is a quick learner and has a brilliant insight into the mechanics of the human body but doesn't show this off nor lets people note that he is/was a doctor. He says teacher now to avoid the emergency situations. Starting Situation: Harrison found out that his brother committed suicide at the age of 50. His brother left for America 20 years before and has tried to make it big but has been denied and shoved over for many years. His agent abandoned him and he has been forced to take a job as a small time guitar teacher. He doesn't come back to England because he doesn't want to look like a failure. Harrison is the only person he talks too. Lance has failed in both career and love and he finally killed himself at the age of 50. Harrison was the only next of kin to be notified. Harrison flew out to bury him. The will left Lance's guitar to Harrison and a request to be buried in America. Harrison couldn't deal with his brother's death so he booked a flight many hours after the funeral, not bothering to change out of his funeral attire. He just wanted to leave and now he is stuck in the airport without his baggage and guitar, which has already been sent home because he wanted to travel light.
