How is going in and out of another universe supposed to be easier, not harder, than just going to? I'm confused. And they aren't really claiming resources. They all travel in just one fleet, or in half a dozen smaller fleets, and grab resources from whatever planet happens to be closest. They go where they feel like stuff could happen, so with all the crap in MWG, they'd be going there. They wouldn't even go to another galaxy unless they were retreating or became bored, which would equal them leaving the roleplay. It's kinda like in a game, where you're a sergeant or a commander, with the entire faction supporting you, but you don't get any of it except some starter stuff and a place to get resources from. Why take the time to go back an insane distance, if they just surround a planet, mine it out and do whatever they need to, and then keep going? If there is a disease that wipes out an entire ship, it'll either be refitted, refilled, or scrapped. And again, they aren't that powerful. Humans could take on enemies that the Supremes never could. The Supremes just have tech that even it out a bit. Not in terms of weapons: they are more peaceful, staying out of the way, but their torpedoes and ship cannons do devastating damage, but other than that, they're mainly utility. The Seeders' genetic engineering by way of thought and process, really good mining, that kind of thing. More likely just to slip away, than to shoot. And they're about as brave as a coyote. Only way to get them to fight on their own terms is to corner them. They really aren't that powerful. Just a bunch of science kids who stay out of the way, who are armed with last-minute tasers.
