Fey watched in surprise as the man named Alucard almost ran from her presence as soon as they were back on the brightly lit main street. She watched him disappear into the crowd with flawless ease he vanished from sight. Fey felt slight abandoned, she had be rescued and unsure if she could trust his stranger and then she was just left, back in safe territory again but he was just gone. Shrugging slightly Fey just allowed the mystery of it to wash over her, it had been a long day, she was hot tired and had gone from extreme terror and relief in space of a few minutes, and it had been a funny day. Getting out her key Fey made the short walk back to her apartment and letting herself into her modern little place Fey smiled at the normality of it. The colours of choice were black and white with a focus on a chequered effect, it made Fey feel like she was playing chess, which happened to be a favourite pastime of hers. A quick hot shower later Fey was laying in bed, lights off, in that place where one reflects on the day’s events. The thing that kept playing on her mind was Alucard’s eyes, they were different from any other man she had ever met. For a little while she stayed awake listening to the sounds of the city in summer through the open window. However she soon fell into a deep sleep, her dreams haunted with large men made of shadows and the stranger with the bright red eyes.
