Alexei's eyes ignored through Hollowfag as he spun the pistol in his hand before putting in back on his belt. He backed off from Melinda; feeling weird, and at the same time, feeling giddy. The lad looked at Jake as he sighed; shapeshifters? Stuff? Not really... Jake wasn't the right guy for the answers, at least not to him.

"Jake already knows how I do stuff, Hollowfag. I think all of you should know as well that I tend to shoot first, and then ask questions later. For a self-proclaimed hero, you've got the brain size of a cockroach, and the intelligence of a dying magpie." Alexei smirked in a cold manner; his eyes not even landing on Hollowfag even once. "Perhaps, Jake isn't the most reliable of sources. If Hollowfag's intelligence is correct, then that villain might have some contact with Winters. As of now, the first source of information we have is Winters himself. It's likely that Winters involved himself with the wrong crowd; he's a lunatic, but he's the closest shit we have to solving this mess." the lad spoke as he approached Winters.

"This man has been scared shitless... He won't be able to talk for a while; perhaps even days. I'm willing to bet that the villain will try to kill Winters to disable us from getting any information out of him." Alexei mumbled; speaking in a cold and monotone manner. "It won't be safe to return him to the pension. We can't risk the safety of the other elders there. We have to house this geezer in here for now." Alexei stood up as he leaned on the wall, beside Winters who was still trembling.

"However, that plan is just up to you people. Either way, both Jake and Winters are in grave danger. They should not be left alone unless required." Alexei shrugged his shoulders as he remembered the destruction that was caused. 

Alexei approached Jake; seeing that Hollowfag was gently shaking him... The assassin rolled his eyes as he found no sense in the gentle shaking. Alexei knelt in front of Jake as he pulled out his pistol, and some magazines. Alexei took off his belt as he attached the weapons to its side; he then placed the belt on Jake's lap as he patted Nerdlord's head.

"You did good today, Nerdlord. Batman would be proud; if I ever see him... I'll ask him to sign another deck for you." Alexei smiled while speaking in a warm tone; noting the crumpled cards on the floor. "As for the pistol... Don't hesitate to use it. Shoot anything that might be a threat to you or to Winters. It's lighter than your shotgun, so you can carry it around. Oh yeah, if you have to shoot Hollowfag in a future fight... Please... Do not hesitate to do so." the assassin chuckled as he patted Jake's shoulder.

Alexei knew what he had to do; he had to stop this mystery before it shrouds them in darkness. Nevada has little to no defense when it comes to real villains, and it's better to put out a spark before it turns into a flame.

"Me---.." Alexei stopped as he closed his eyes, and turned to Telefag. "Telefag, come with me. I'm gonna need back-up. We'll try to trace Winters' movements, and if possible, trace the origin of that monster. I'm gonna need to ask Invisigirl and the others to protect these two." Alexei instructed as he grabbed his rifle, and trench knife.

"Well, it's up to you, if you want to come Telefag... However, if we do encounter the same danger, I can't promise us a ride back home." Alexei smiled as he pulled the door open and went outside.
