In theory, she could destroy pretty much anything in a lush enough environment, trap opponents in roots and grasses, but because of her uselessness in most urban environments, she typically does not participate actively as a member of the X-Men. Personality: She is light, air-y and kind. Often lost in thought she can sometimes appear very aloof, but this is most certainly not the case. She loves to talk to people, to laugh and have fun. That isn't to say she doesn't get serious, but typically she'll have a joke or some whimsical observation to interject and diffuse any situation in danger of becoming serious. Bio: Appolina grew up in El Dorado Hills, CA to a loving, well-off family. Both of her parents were successful in their respective fields and provided a very lofty life, often giving her the freedom to explore the fields and forests in the area around her. Still, her parents would be away for long periods at a time on business, but that just meant she could spend more time in the woodlands, reading, singing, dancing, whatever struck her fancy for the moment. Life was utterly painless and impressed an optimism upon her that would never cease. When her powers manifested, all she could hear were barely audible whispers calling to her from the forest. It made no sense, she felt as though her mind was betraying her. Of course, this 'betrayal' lasted until a sunflower sang to her. A rose called her pretty, a dandelion giggled incessantly with her and a thistle asked for a kiss. The whisper only seemed to grow, though, calling her into the forest once more. After being approached by the Professor with an offer for a particularly special school, her parents supported the decision, knowing full and well who this man was and what that meant for their daughter. "We'd always wondered why the roses never died," her father had joked, ruffling her thick hair about - she would later tattoo the phrase across her collarbone, much to their chagrin. They supported the decision to go to Xavier's school one-hundred percent, out of love for opportunity, their daughter, and a fear of what might happen if someone else discovered she was a mutant first. And so she lives at the mansion, working on a botany degree with specialized courses and caring for those around her, plants and students alike.
