Phill sensed Alicia's distrust right away, why wouldn't she, after all she should have been through a soldier from another country was the last person to trust, but what bothered Phill more was the question itself, it was stupid of a knight to give everything away fro a group of strangers, was it? His expression turned to a serious one as doubt raced towards his mind, he took a moment to look at the ceiling and finally responded "I don't expect this to change your view of me but, i would say I'm one of those persons who can't let one person die for the sake of the world" with an embarrassing grin " and to be fair, Talbot, The ashole (zaino), Ambra and Silas wouldn't have made it far without Andrew". Phill smirked a bit as he then regained a serious tone and looked Alice straight in the eyes " I asure you Mis Alice, I will not sell you out, I'm not gaining anything from this, it's purely my own choice" then he looked down and whispered almost as if he was speaking to someone else "no regrets... right". Phill didn't really awnser the question, for he didn't fully know the answer himself, he just couldn't bring himself to abandon the shepherds to their own devises, they would shurely die in the cruel land of Plegia but that wasn't all, he knew that. "If you like, I would leave this inn so you can all decide if I can be trusted or not" he said as he realized the group should all be feeling the same way about him.
