Before she knew it, Kaede was approached by a woman with a Pikachu and a Torchic. They were rather cute Pokemon, but she could tell that they were well taken care of. She hated to see Pokemon that had dull and matted coats and saddened expressions. The dark blond haired woman grinned up at the other female, opening her mouth to answer. ”I’ve been lost for what seems like forever.” she told her, watching as Bracken perked up a bit when the Pokemon approached. The Snivy peered at the Pikachu with wide eyes before leaning closer and sniffing it. At least Bracken likes the Pikachu. Maybe because it hasn’t gotten too close, yet. ”My supplies were running low, too. Thanks for the help, I really need to get to a town-“ Kaede heard another voice and when she looked up, she caught sight of another person. The young man had a Chimchar with him and had hair as bright as fire. She was about to greet him before he came in between the two women and wrapped his arms around their shoulders. At that, Kaede snarled and raised a fist, aiming to slam it into the man’s face. Whether she missed or not, she didn’t care, but the abrupt movement had freed her from his clutches. Bracken hissed loudly and got in a position to attack, but Kaede calmed him down with a flick of her hand. When the Pokemon knew that his master was safe, he turned back toward the other Pokemon. ”Snivy.” Bracken greeted, sitting down on the grass and wrapping his tail around himself. ”You have more food? Thank Arceus. I was thinking that we were about to starve.” Kaede told the woman, who was named Nessie. She glanced back at Adam and scowled. I hope he leaves soon. If not I’ll have to bring out Lamina… --- Not that far away, a young man walked through the city of Lumiose. The buildings arched over his head and cast dark shadows onto the streets. People bustled back and forth, donning fashionable clothing and showing off their Pokemon. It was a bit too flashy for Seito, even if this was his home town, and even if he was born into a rich family. The black haired, blue eyed man heaved a sigh as he shoved his hands into his pockets. The boss told me to come here. He said something about a base of operations in Lumiose… he thought. Seito turned a corner and continued his stroll, keeping his eyes peeled for any sign of the Blackbody Corporation. After a while more of searching, he accepted that he was lost. I still don’t understand why I have to be traveling back and forth between the continents. I haven’t even seen heads or tails of a legendary Pokemon in the years that I’ve been here, but they’re always talking about them. Seito grumbled a curse as he reached a dead end, and turned around, finding his way back to the main streets. The boss won’t be happy with me if I don’t find the base soon. ”Nova, Nymeria.” the Blackbody member pulled out a pair of Pokeballs from the inside of his coat, tossing them up into the air. In a flash of red light, two Pokemon appeared. One was a Noibat and the other was an Eevee, but both were feminine in the way they held themselves. The Noibat screeched and began to flutter around Seito’s head before resting atop it, and the Eevee made a noise like a purr and rubbed up against his leg. He chuckled and stroked both of them before speaking again. ”Nova, take to the skies and see if you can find the base from above.” he told the Noibat, who nodded and took flight, disappearing around a building in a flash. The Eevee watched him as he turned toward it. ”Nymeria, stay with me. I’m afraid I’ll need an extra pair of eyes for this mission.” ”Vee!” the fox-like Pokemon barked, leaping onto Seito’s shoulder and making herself comfortable before pricking up her ears, her almond colored eyes flicking to and fro the area. The man chuckled and walked down the street again, making sure to take in his surroundings. I can’t fail.
