Cyrus awoke from his perch in a very large oak tree. He had fallen asleep without knowing, exhausted from his endless walking. It was his first time really exploring the region he grew up in. The Kalos region was indeed beautiful, and just the sight his eyes could see from the tree filled him with excitement. Suddenly, a blue creature jumped onto his chest, Cyrus smiled. "Dagon," he said, "you're up early." His companion smiled at him, and croaked. He patted Dagon's head, then the Froakie jumped onto Bane's head. Cyrus laughed, and dispite the fact that he was sore from sleeping in a tree, he managed to jump down from his perched position unharmed. Cyrus unslung his pack and unzipped it, he was very hungry. He grabbed a powerbar and a sandwich, he fed his two pokemon some of their favorite berries and gummis. Then he put Hesita back in her pokeball, and headed out, Dagon perched on his head. Cyrus was walking through a dense forest, whistling while he did. He entered a clear and stopped, "uh," he sputtered. He pushed his glasses up higher on his nose, trying to comprehend why he was seeing. It was other people! Bane wasn't a people-person, to say the least. There were three trainers talking, Cyrus took note of their pokemon. One of the girls seemed to be very mad at the red-haired man. Building up his courage, he approached the group. He had no idea why to say, but Dagon seemed very interested in the other trainers' pokemon. He hopped of of Cyrus' head and leaped to the other pokemon. He croak at them, as if introducing himself. Cyrus had to say something now, "uh...." Try again. "H-i. M-my name is Cyrus. Where are you guys he-ading?" He stuttered a bit, trying to keep his voice stable. He ran a hand through his hair, hopefully they wouldn't think he was too weird.
