*Shrugs* It's the simple truth. Time wears everything away. In the end, everything all of humankind achieves is for nothing, as our sun expands. Entropy will end our universe, and humanity will be wiped out, if we're still alive then. Nothing anyone does will ever achieve anything in the greater scheme of things.
The point is that you should make the most of the moments you've got.
