History: Jasmine graduated with a photography degree from Sante Fe university. So far she has spent a lot of her time doing nature photography in Africa. She has been face to face with large predators and knows how to handle herself in high stress situations. She has a sister that she sends birthday cards and Christmas cards to, but that is the extent of their contact.
She was hired by Statler because she is known for pushing the limits to get the shot she wants... and she doesn't ask questions.

Other: She was in the same photography course as Nick Van Owen and even sat in on a lecture by Ian Malcolm entitled "Life at the Edge of Chaos" about the Chaos Theory, something she is interested in and supports.
