Krista took Jack's lack of an answer positively. Perhaps he was just distracted by the mortar shells veering dangerously close to the boat, or the deafening sound of numerous machine guns firing on top deck, but she chose to ignore their close brushes with death and take his silence as sheer confidence in his ability to get them away from their assailants. Unfortunately the attacker's didn't decide to communicate with their via radio before enacting their attack, because she literally had nothing to do except cower away inside the hunk of metal hoping that nothing managed to hit their extraordinarily flammable delivery items. Her balance faulted as they managed to dodge the mortar shots, and collapsed against the iron hull. Despite herself, she couldn't help but let a tiny chuckle escape her lips as her adrenaline slowly rose. "In case your life ain't enough incentive, I'll buy ya' a drink later if we escape with our limbs intact!" she laughed to Jack from the ground, despite being fully aware that the boat could blow up at any second.
