Fish For the past couple of minutes, Michael had been wondering exactly why he had bothered to come here. Very few other Camarilla felt it was even worth showing up so clearly something was up with this place. If the Dredge of the Camarilla didn't show up, then why was this place worth someone with such potential as himself? He supposed the one good thing was it would be incredibly easy to ascend the ranks with so few here, but where's the challenge in unlife? Not that anything was challenging but he at least wanted to feel like he tried in order to do well. Still he should be grateful it would be so easy to be powerful here, however boring, easy and mundane the path to power was. Impatiently he listened one by one to each introduction, it was nice to get to know the competition although with a crowd this small he wouldn't need to. He had been casually leaning back in his chair tapping his fingers as he tried to figure out the characters of everyone in the room. First came the Prince (whose names he can never bother to remember), a Ventrue way in over his head. Surprise surprise the Ventrue was a SUB (i.e. Stuck Up Bastard/Bitch) albeit one who couldn't control his temper or present himself properly. Clearly the Camarilla didn't think much of him sending him here (and with this turn out, neither did the locals), when he got in that chair of his he would make this place soooo much better. Fish Then came his sister Alodia (depressing, a stereotypical malkavian) the Little Fish, he could feel the madness radiating off of her to the point where snippets of her thoughts floated into his mind through the Cobweb (conventionally known as the Madness Network). He was slightly caught off guard as the word 'Fish' echoed intermittently in his mind, it was unusual for the Cobweb to even touch his mind but clearly she had to be something special to elicit a reaction. His problem with her wasn't so much competition but the fact she was killing the calm, mysterious but awesome vibe of his mind with her thoughts. If only Vampires could be lobotomised. Next came Reza aka the Emo Warrior (Black really doesn't suit him, we're depressing enough as it is, don't add to it), an Assamite who seemed to actually be smart enough to be (or at least present himself as) loyal to the Prince, if only to save his own skin. Assamites aren't exactly welcome (soul drinking aka diablerie is the ultimate sin for some reason, despite the fact vampires spend their lives getting power), Michael knew that he wasn't exactly much of a threat for now but once he gained the trust he could become a problem. Here's hoping he fucks up. Fish Then came another assamite, he could barely even stop himself cracking up as Gaius the Kid Killer spoke up. His size and hesitation during his speech (the irony, oh my you can be a part of me if you want) weren't doing him any favours with the crowd, maybe he gets extra points for boyish cuteness? He didn't seem like much of a problem, maybe he could be the Robin to his Batman. And finally was Augustus the Bigass Backwards Brute (here there after known as BBB), who bites firsts and asks questions later. His shouting made him stand out as the most childish vamp in the room, despite the presence of Kid Killer, and his speech contained nothing of substance. He had a feeling it would be easy to manipulate him, he would make a good pet. Wonder if he'd be more like a dog or cat? Probably a Lion. Oh and there was that unimportant barely noticeable Hot Hound who didn't even count as competition (being able to rip something in half doesn't make a Werewolf important), if Michael was still human he'd tap that tight ass. She should probably work on her sexy look through, it makes her look kinda off puttingly horny. Fish After the less interesting introductions were gotten out of the way he got up and said, ''My Name is Michael Anderson,'' he looked Alodia in the eye ''I'm a Carrier, Little Fish'' and then turned to the rest of the crowd, ''A Malkavian to the rest of you, and my purpose here is simply to help our new Prince establish this location as a Camarilla city,''. He paused for a moment choosing his next words carefully, he wanted the crowd to know exactly why he was so amazing, ''And as a final word, if you expect me to go crazy and entertain you, let me be the first to say you are mistaken. I recommend you take me seriously,''. He sat back down in a controlled fashion, trying emphasise how he was under control unlike every other Malk he had ever met. Not his best work, he was under pressure had no time to really prepare but it would do for first impressions (as well as the fact the SUB was giving me evils the whole time, he really needs to work on presentation). Fish Now to see how long he could last sitting in this room before he was bored to death by the SUB inevitable long political piece or the Little Fish managed to drive him insane with the constant attempts to indoctrinate his mind with Fish. Maybe she was intentionally trying to drive him mad? It did actually sound like quite a Malk thing to do despite how.... Fish This was going to be a looooong night.
