Cortez grinned. She was finally having a natural conversation! At least, someone who seemed pretty normal. It felt great to be acknowledged by others. It was just a natural trait of hers to enjoy getting the appreciation of people, but she had never felt it as often as she was now. She gave David a toothy grin when he told her that he was fine.

The boy then asked her if he could... ask her a question? Slightly confused at why he would ask to ask a question, the pirate captain puffed her chest out in pride, that puff of cheeks completely out of her face.

"Aye! Fire your cannons, matey!"

Meanwhile, Terotrax found himself standing nearby the infirmary. He apparently wanted to make sure that everyone injured was treated, but true to his honest thoughts, he really had nothing to do. The DJ turned his boombox on at a quiet volume, apparently enjoying the hip-hop music coming out of it. Today was his first day at the academy, and things were already exciting enough for him to enjoy!
